How to Care for Your AllTrade Shirt
First Wash
- **Turn inside out** to protect the print
- Wash in **cold water** with like colors
- Use **mild detergent** (regular laundry soap is fine)
- **Do not bleach** the garment (will damage print and fabric)
- Wash separately for the first 2-3 washes if colors are dark
Ongoing Care
- **Machine wash** in cold water, inside out
- Use **gentle or normal cycle**—these are work shirts, they can handle it
- Wash with similar colors to avoid dye transfer
- **Do not use excessive heat** (tumble dry on low or air dry preferred)
- If drying, use **low to medium heat** to protect the print
Drying
- **Tumble dry on low heat** or **air dry** (recommended for longest life)
- Remove promptly from dryer to avoid wrinkles
- If air drying, hang or lay flat to dry
Ironing & Storage
- **Iron on low heat** if needed, pressing on the back side of the garment
- **Never iron directly over the print**—this can damage the design
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
- Fold or hang as preferred

Print Care & Durability
**Expect & Embrace Print Wear:** Our philosophy is that your AllTrade shirt should show it's been *worn*. The design is printed on the garment to last, but like any job-site gear, it will develop character over time.
- **First 10 washes:** Print is fully set; normal washing won't fade it
- **After 20+ washes:** Slight fading is normal and adds to the vintage look
- **Cracks in print after 50+ washes:** This happens with regular work use and shows the shirt has *earned its place* in your rotation
**Design Longevity:** With proper care (cold water, low heat drying, inside-out washing), you can expect 12-18 months of regular wear before noticeable fading. For job-site gear that gets *destroyed* (remember: "Good Looking Shirts Get Destroyed"), this is industry-standard performance.
